The CIC and National Shroud of Turin Exhibit (NSTE) co-hosted program "The Shroud of Turin: Mystery and History." A surprise VIP guest attended and addressed the crowd.

Nora Creech, our National Shroud of Turin team member, gave a stunning power point talk at the event. A Washington VIP sat in the front row with security guards! The event was featured in the National Catholic Register (the most widely read Catholic publication in the world). On Palm Sunday the article was trending #1. March 14, 2023: Sign From God & National Shroud of Turin Exhibit at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Wash DC

Members of our team who attended the National Catholic Breakfast from left to right: Lisa Rowan, Nora Creech, Myra Kahn Adams, Dr. Cheryl White. The Shroud posters were distributed in 1000 gift bags for breakfast attendees. We are promoting the life-sized Shroud of Turin replica at the Catholic Information Center in downtown DC. That replica is our first "mini-exhibit" and a great start for our mission to produce a permanent national Shroud of Turin exhibit in DC.

The National Shroud of Turin Exhibit a project of SignFromGod is proud to announce that our first "mini" exhibit is a life-sized replica of the Shroud of Turin on display at the Catholic Information Center (CIC) in downtown Washington D.C. The replica was gifted from the International Center for Sindonology in Turin, Italy — the authorities who are responsible for the daily care of the Shroud of Turin — to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Then, the Museum loaned the replica to the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit, and it will be on display at CIC for six months starting on March 13, 2023. CIC is located at 1501 K St. NW, Washington D.C. 20005. cicdc.org
The leaders of the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit are pleased about this four-way collaboration — a great start to help us fulfill our mission to produce a permanent National Shroud of Turin Exhibit.
On March 14, at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit will host an exhibit booth and also distribute 1,000 Shroud posters in the attendee gift bags to promote the Shroud replica and the four-way collaboration that made it possible. The poster explains the markings on the Shroud that mirror the Gospel accounts of the suffering endured by Jesus Christ.

Myra Kahn Adams, Executive Director of SignFromGod, told the audience that they would receive posters detailing all the marks of suffering seen on the "Man of the Shroud." Myra also promoted the SignFromGod logo coffee mug, a gift with a donation to the ministry. Click on donate page.
Shown above: Zooming in from Turin, Italy was Enrico Simonato, the keynote speaker. Enrico is one of the directors of the International Center for the Study of the Shroud (located in Turin, Italy). He shared insights about the perpetual care of the cloth and how it relates to both scientific and critical studies that continue from many disciplines around the world. He also discussed the present-day state of research from his unique experience as a primary caretaker of the Shroud today, responsible for preserving it for future generations.
Joining him on the panel (in the middle) was Cheryl H. White, PhD, a Shroud expert and engaging speaker who has been invited to all the Shroud events at the museum. Her topic was "The Most Studied Artifact in the World: What Do We Know Today about the Shroud of Turin?"
On the left is Christy Wallover, Exhibit Developer who spoke about "Revealing Insights: Results from Mystery & Faith Visitor Surveys." On the right is Dr. Jeff Kloha, the museum's chief curator.

It was a glorious day at the grand opening of the Shroud of Turin exhibit at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. The exhibit is open through July 31. Here is the team responsible for the opening event: From left to right - Lisa Rowan, Russ Breault, Fr. Robert Spitzer, Dr. Cheryl White, Myra Adams, Dr. Jeff Kloha and David Adams.
Besides the high-tech exhibit with an exact replica of the Shroud, there was an expert speakers event starring SignFromGod co-founder Russ Breault and Barrie Schwortz from Shroud.com, among others. SignFromGod was one of the four event sponsors. Here is a link to watch the program. And a short clip from the opening event when Chief Curatorial Officer Dr. Jeff Kloha thanked and recognized Myra Adams for bringing the idea of a Shroud exhibit to the museum four years ago.

There was much press: Russ Breault appeared on EWTN to promote the exhibit. Myra wrote an op-ed on Townhall that posted on Feb. 26, Shroud of Turin Exhibit at Museum of the Bible – Why You Should Visit. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Amb. Callista Gingrich wrote a detailed article about the Shroud and the exhibit. Other press included NewsMax, the Washington Times, and the National Catholic Register.
Podcasts included: Line of Fire with Dr. Michael Brown featuring Museum of the Bible curators. Myra appeared on Ed Morrissey’s podcast and then Myra and Russ were also guests on Dr. Michael Brown’s podcast talking about the Shroud and the exhibit.

The long-awaited high-tech exhibition about the Shroud of Turin is opening Feb. 26, 2022 at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
Titled, Mystery and Faith: The Shroud of Turin will close on July 31, 2022. Tickets for the Feb. 26 grand-opening event are now on sale.

At the Museum of the Bible on Oct. 9, Sign From God was the event sponsor of "Shroud of Mystery: The World's Most Analyzed Artifact." This successful program featured three Sign From God board members, Russ Breault, Joe Marino and Myra Kahn Adams along with two Shroud experts Dr. Cheryl White and Very Reverend Peter B. Mangum. The event was hosted by Dr. Jeff Kloha, Chief Curatorial Officer, Museum of the Bible. Watch the program here.

On April 23, the following announcement was made from the podium at the National
Catholic Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.:
“The Museum of the Bible is excited to propose a groundbreaking, high-tech, innovative
exhibition about the Shroud of Turin with a mission to explore its history, mysteries,
facets, and themes by utilizing state-of-the-art imaginative displays.”
The operative phrase is “excited to propose.”
In order for the Museum to produce what will be the most creative, high-tech Shroud
exhibition the world has ever seen, it will need to raise at least $2 million. News of the proposed exhibit first appeared on TownHall.com in a piece by Myra Adams that was later picked-up by Aleteia.
